Employers are looking for trainees, while students want suitable training positions after they finish school. WiFöG, in cooperation with the district of Ludwigslust-Parchim, brings both sides together. To enable regional companies to make uncomplicated contact with talented young people, we have founded an online platform: the LUP-O-MAT. Employers from the district publish their vacant training and apprenticeship positions free of charge on the job portal. Pupils also have the opportunity to look for holiday jobs and internships near their home. With the LUP-O-MAT, we help young people from Southwest Mecklenburg to get off to a successful start in their careers and give them a future in the region where they already live.
The Economic Development Department is committed to the close interaction between businesses and schools in the district. For this reason, we have been involved in the numerous local SCHULEWIRTSCHAFT working groups for years. In these networks, cooperation and exchange between business and education are constantly coordinated, updated and optimised. We give companies the opportunity to present their wishes, ideas and requirements for the next generation of skilled workers to the schools in their immediate vicinity. The result is qualified networks that help prepare pupils for entry opportunities in regional companies at an early stage. WiFöG is the responsible coordinator of the SCHULEWIRTSCHAFT network in the Ludwigslust and surrounding area working group.

The reasons for the sustainable success of the portal are obvious: LUP-O-MAT is much more than just a digital job advertisement for young professionals. We also contact students directly at career guidance fairs and work with them in career guidance classes at school. We also introduce you to our companies in the district that are looking for talents like you.
Our strong job portal for young people is also present on Facebook, Instagram and TikTok. This gives you the chance to find great internships, apprenticeships and dual study positions via social media.
