- Planning, route selection, and structural and technical design of overhead power lines in the energy infrastructure sector
- Preparation of conceptual, permitting, planning approval, and construction documents
- Definition of utility routes, preparation of clearance and ground clearance reports, regulations, and, if necessary, tension tables
- Processing and Analysis of Laser Scanning Data, Terrain Models, and Intersection Documentation
- Preparation of specifications and technical documents
- Coordination of construction drawings, work areas, access routes (including turning circles), and temporary construction facilities
- Coordination and communication with project owners, utility companies, government agencies, contractors, and other stakeholders
- Conducting site inspections to ensure compliance with norms, technical standards, and regulations
- Ensuring on-time delivery, adherence to budget, risk minimization, and quality assurance
- Participation in individual engineering studies, technical working groups, and project teams
- A bachelor’s or master’s degree in civil engineering, electrical engineering, surveying, geoinformatics, or a comparable field
- Knowledge of overhead line route planning
- Initial experience in the areas of high-voltage power lines, geodata, or infrastructure planning is desirable
- Willingness to familiarize oneself with new planning methods and standards and to develop technical solutions
- Since the position requires extensive communication with clients, building owners, and—in particular—government agencies and authorities, including the preparation and coordination of documents related to building codes, form-specific applications, written statements, as well as participation in official review and approval procedures, we require excellent written and spoken German skills at the C1 level of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages. The precise, legally sound, and unambiguous wording required for this is essential for submitting error-free building permit applications, correctly complying with regulatory requirements, and avoiding misunderstandings during the approval process. Proof of this (e.g., a language certificate, a high school diploma, or a college degree earned in German) must be included with the application or credibly demonstrated during the interview.
- Proficiency in MS Office, MS Project, and digital project communication; experience with planning or AVA software is a plus
